Spectrum Aquatics, a PlayCore company is pleased to announce that Kersplash Pool Climbing Walls are now available with multiple color options, Kersplash Kolors, to compliment any pool area.    Customers have the choice of clear, blue, or green panels available in checkerboard, columns, or full color walls to match their facilities.   Kersplash Pool Climbing Walls have long been a mainstay for facilities that entice customers to challenge themselves with these poolside amenities.

“Our customers asked for variety in the color options offered for the Kersplash walls,” said Nabil Khaled, Vice President of Sales & Marketing.  “We understand the link between fun pool activity and the aesthetic appeal that facilities are looking for.  Kersplash Kolors (clear, blue, and green) provide our customers with both.”

Designed by Spectrum Aquatic Engineers, the Kersplash wall is made of a sturdy, single-piece commercial grade frame. Its unique design exceeds multi-piece construction in wind-loading, ease of installation, and aesthetic appeal.

The durable 304L stainless steel frame is electropolished, passivated, and coated with our triple corrosion resistant Spectra-Shield. High-impact-grade, double-UV-protected Polycarbonate panels can safely be anchored at 4’ intervals.

Kersplash® design has doubled the anchoring in the height dimension for improved climbing feel. All panels fit in the same frame, allowing changes between panel types and the combination of panel styles on any wall. Kersplash panels angle out over the pool, depending on total height of frame, to maximize balance between climbability and safety.

The Jamma Jr! Poolside Basketball Hoop

We are pleased to announce the addition of Poolside Basketball Hoops to our extensive line of Aquatic Adventure Zone™ products. This line includes the pool climbing walls, AquaZip’N®, poolside slides, and more.

“We are excited about adding the Poolside Basketball Hoops to our line of fun,” said Nabil Khaled, VP of Marketing and Sales. “Poolside basketball can provide hours of recreation for team or solo play, creating an engaging and fun way to encourage visitors to spend more time at your pool.”

The basketball hoop lineup offers three models to fit different levels of recreation. The “Jamma!” and “Slamma!” basketball hoops are available with up to 10′ rim height and offer various setback levels, and the “Jamma Jr!” offers a 42” rim height. All three hoop frames are constructed of 304L Stainless Steel to minimize corrosion and provide a poolside feature that will last for years to come.

All of Spectrum’s basketball hoops can be customized to mount directly to the pool deck if necessary.  Clear backboards are standard, but there are customized heavy-duty bison backboards are also available.  The poolside basketball hoops can also be mounted to concrete pylons, walls, or anything a facility needs to maximize space and play.

MISSOULA, MT, August 31, 2018 – Since 2011, employees from Spectrum Aquatics, a local Montana manufacturer, have participated in an annual Day of Caring project that seeks making a difference in the communities they live, work and play. For their 2018 project, Spectrum held a fundraiser to provide school supplies to their neighbors at DeSmet School. The DeSmet Public School transforms lives through teaching, inspiring and nurturing.

“We are touched that Spectrum Aquatics would think of DeSmet School for their Day of Caring project,” added Principal Matthew Driessen.

This summer, Spectrum’s Day of Caring team went to neighboring businesses to fundraise while also holding a successful 50/50 raffle for employees. In total, they raised $925 that allowed them to purchase supplies to make a Back-to-school pouch for each child to receive on their first day of school as well as gift cards for each teacher to put toward classroom supplies. They also made motivational posters for each classroom letting them know the Spectrum team wished them a wonderful year.

“We are excited about this project in many ways,” added Marketing Manager, Chase Taylor of Spectrum Aquatics. “It’s nice to help a school that is right across the street from Spectrum and getting all 48 employees working toward a common fundraising goal.”

MISSOULA, MT, September 20th 2017 – This year, the Spectrum Aquatics 2017 Day of Caring was at
held at the Moon-Randolph Homestead. The City of Missoula purchased the 470-acre Randolph property in
1996 to preserve open space for animals, plants and people. The ranch is located at the northwest corner of
the property and has been continuously cultivated for 100 years by the Moon and Randolph families—
which gradually began to draw the attention of curious and concerned citizens. Since 2000, the NMCDC
has managed the homestead through a cooperative agreement with the City of Missoula Parks and
Recreation Department. This public-nonprofit partnership receives significant support from the private
sector and provides an innovative model for collaborative community building.

Twenty-two employees donated and completed 77 hours of work! We sorted a large wood pile and pulled
nails out of boards which will be used to finish re-construction of the Winch Shed. We repaired fences and
reset fence posts along the entry of the homestead and the pig pen, put mulch around the old apple trees in
the orchard, filled mole holes, repaired an outdoor table, reinstated and touched up the bee hotel and
clipped thistle heads.

“We are excited about this project in many ways,” added Marketing Manager, Chase Taylor of Spectrum
Aquatics. “We have seen benefits of being able to give back to our community and it has create a great
network for Spectrum and Missoula Park and Rec. Dept. The fact that it is our annual Day of Caring makes
it even more meaningful.”
