Tired of the wind blowing over your portable lifeguard and coaching platforms? The Platform Ballast System provides the needed stability for these platforms. It weighs approximately 185lbs when filled with water, and is designed for easy attachment to most existing portable platforms. The retrofit Ballast System consists of a ballast tank, 300 series stainless steel square tubing for mounting and the necessary mounting hardware. Drill bits to drill mounting holes into the existing platform are included. The ballast tank is molded of Linear Low-Density Polyethylenek and employs a UV inhibitor to preserve color. The tank is safety blue in color and is flame polished for an attractive, lasting finish. Two sides of the tank sport molded-in graphics stating "Danger Keep Off." The tank is equipped with top and side mounted fill and drain ports, each with a screw on the cover.
