When Marias Pool Blanket Systems are used on indoor and outdoor pools/spas, they help those facilities save money -- often paying for themselves in less than one year. The Marias II Blanket System is superior to all other energy saving pool blankets because it employs two layers of woven polyethylene (12x12 thread count per inch) that are then double-coated with 3 mil of ultra-violet ray inhibiting film. A special foam and laminating process imbues strength, insulation, and buoyancy. Weighted edging prevents premature wear and accomodates windy environment. Brass grommets are even located along the edging for securing blanket panels to storage reel systems. Although regular blanket shapes fit square or rectangular swimming pools, irregular shapes tailored to your pool are also available at a slightly higher price. Blanket panels come in widths of 15, 18, or 20 feet, and arrive complete with loop ties for attaching individual panels to Bitterroot portable stainless steel storage systems.
