Swim-Lift® Aspen BP300
ADA Battery Powered Swim-Lift
Designed for installation in the decks of in-ground and above-ground pools/spas. ADA/ABA compliant battery powered lift has a safe and easy operating system. Rotationally and vertically powered allowing patrons to move left and right and up and down. Accommodates a setback of 6" to 28".
Features include: 300 lb. operating load capacity, handset strategically placed allowing for operation at pool deck and the seat, quite, stable operation, safe and easy to use 24-VDC operating system, battery charger included. Single anchor point, easy to operate, easy to install, even into existing concrete decks. Accommodates multiple setbacks, allowing for installation on pools/spas with large gutters and/or coping stones. Stainless steel construction, no paint to chip, no dissimilar metals to corrode. Standard fold down seat. *optional mesh sling available, is not ADA compliant. Customization is available to the chair to meet California Code regulations.

The new Mendota portable lifeguard chairs are made of recycled high-density polyethylene with colorants and UV inhibitors. Two seat heights available, 3' and 4'. Resistant to corrosive substances, oil, insects, fungi, salt spray, rust and other environmental stresses. Does not absorb moisture and will not rot, splinter or crack. Umbrella and rescue tube holder inlcuded. Joints are secure with 316 stainless steel hardware. Optional Ballast System provides stability to portable platforms.
NEW! Side Mount Single Post Starting Platform and Graphics Available for Tops
The new side mount single post starting platform is engineered to eliminate deflection - no wobble or shimming required, easy to install and remove. The platform is ideal for bulkheads and parapets and all stainless steel components are passivated and electropolished. The platform top is 23" x 25" (Grizzly) and 32" x 24" (Growler), has no exposed hardware/bolts, is extremely low/minimal flex, defection or wobble. The platform top also includes a front hand/toe grip for faster take off, made of rotationally molded low density polyethylene and is available in five colors.

Marias™ II Energy Saving Pool Blankets
Spectrum Products® announces a new and improved commercial swimming pool energy saving blanket system. The U. S. Department of Energy advocates the use of energy saving blankets on commercial swimming pools – some states mandate their use. Blankets save thousands of dollars in energy and operating costs annually. Ironically indoor swimming pools through experience show the greatest cost savings!
These new blankets are more durable than other systems that are currently available. Marias™ II blankets are fabricated using high-density polyethylene outer fabric layers, having a 12 x 12 thread count per inch thus providing superior strength and durability. This fabric is coated with a ultra-violet ray-stabilizing agent to guard against surface degradation and is then flame laminated to a foam flotation core. Marias-W2, weighted wind resistant edging, is provided with each blanket panel assembly.
Marias II blankets are designed to be reversible, giving them twice the life of conventional blankets. When used with Spectrum’s "Bitterroot" stainless steel storage reel systems easy deployment and retrieval of the blanket panels is guaranteed. SpectraClean™ Field Stainless Steel Cleaning and Passivation Kit
"Stop Rust and Corrosion of Stainless Steel Rails"
Spectrum Products® is making available, in kit form, a stainless steel cleaning and passivation process for use in the field by aquatic facility maintenance people. The cleaning and passivation process is based on newly developed technology that uses safe and environmentally friendly material to remove free iron from the surface of stainless steel.
Austenitic stainless steel surfaces can be made highly resistant to corrosion if properly cleaned and passivated. Few stainless steel rail manufacturers passivate their products, sighting cost as the factor. As a standard practice, Spectrum Aquatics® passivates all of our products.
In corrosive environments, i.e., indoor swimming pools, the non-passivated rails may begin to corrode rapidly. Repeated use of SpectraClean™ will restore and establish the chromium oxides layer that is attributed to the corrosion resistance of all 300 series stainless steel rails.
